Cub Grub - Raw Chicken Meat
The other day we gave Cleo to try out raw quail meat from Cub Grub, and as we bought 300g of raw chicken meat, we decided to let Cleo try it out. At first after we defrosted the whole jar, we gave Cleo some to try. She ate a little bit and then stopped eating. She did however eat after it was warmer. We had to think then of a way to warm Cleo’s food without cooking it. We decided to just stick a portion that we are going to give her into a small container. We then put the container into lukewarm water to warm it up. My friend was afraid that hot water might end up cooking the meat slightly.
We've been feeding it to her for about 2-3 days now. She seems to be okay with it only. Because in the morning when we give it to her, she finishes it. But then again we also give her a smaller portion. When it comes to dinner time, ignoring the fact that we give her a larger portion, once in a while she will only eat a little bit and then it goes to waste. So perhaps she doesn't really fancy it? Or maybe she's sick of eating the same thing? Or maybe she just prefers her chicken to be cooked.
