Hello dear Steemians,

After been busy last couple of days and also being working on my pastel work for last three days, it is ready and I am glad to be able to show it.

Couple of months ago I saw a picture of a cute little model girl who has such beautiful eyes that I immediately wanted to capture it. While looking through the other information I found that this is in California born girl started modeling when she was 3 year old, actually she is only one year younger then my son. Since then her world is show business and currently she lives in Texas.

Why portrait?

From early beginning, or better to say since I was a child I saw the old drawings of my father, where he captures famous writers, poets and just famous people with pencils on paper. He did them when he was young and by the time he had us, children he stopped because of lack of time. For us, we loved to open his album and watch, of course we also wanted to be so good like him.

I started drawing portrait with pencils and really love black and white, it is very precise and time consuming work. Slowly I discovered pastels and found that this is the best medium for portraits. When I am working on portrait I forget everything and enjoy it very much.

I hope you will also like it, now please enjoy my work and as always I have take few pictures just to capture the steps of my work.

Great! Her face feels three dimensional, and the stare looks more intensive than the original photo.

Thank you @longer for your nice comment, it is great to hear your opinion. I usually do my coloring using black and white photo so that I can see values of tones better and color picture just to keep in general the colors that used. I love to change a bit the colors too to make Art work looking differently from photograph. I twas nice to see you in my blog :)
