Connecting With Your Social Media
Be Responsive and Engaging.
When it comes to social media, it's not just a case of making daily posts or even multiple social media posts per day, but also being responsive and engaging with fans and followers (The clue is in the name 'social').
Certainly on platforms such as Facebook, it is useful to use chat-bots to respond to enquiries and direct fans in the right direction and answer general questions, but you should also be providing the personal touch.
If someone comments on your post, thank them, the same if they re-tweet someone, and of course by monitoring your social media, you can also quickly get rid of those nasty troll comments that are far too common.
By maintaining a monitoring mentality, you can also spot opportunities, build up a rapport with people and certainly extend your reach and potential by networking with others, whether they are existing or potential customers or mutually beneficial contacts.
