RE: The End of Silence (and Roll20)

You are so correct on this.
We need to judge each other on who we are. This is what the internet has done with forums, discord, Steem etc,,, we are judged by what we say and how we interact.

Picking any group or person over another one due to skin, sex, religion, politics, etc.. is completely wrong.

I am glad to hear you left the platform. That is the best way to handle them. The next best thing is to promote another platform.

If you ever want to jump in for a few sessions we run a RPG here called #steemquest there are some more coming out in #playbypost

The thing that I find interesting is how people let their worldview impact their behavior. We teach that certain things are always right, but it only takes a myopic moment to forget that.

Right now I'm looking into Astral Virtual Tabletop. It's interesting, and perhaps the most direct analogue to Roll20 out there. I also want to try Fantasy Grounds, which looks really cool but is pricey. On the other hand, two years of Roll20 subscriptions would far exceed the cost of FG.

Both Astral and Fantasy Grounds seem to be better with imported content, which was one of my growing gripes with Roll20. For instance, Astral lets you choose the pixels-to-grid ratio, which Roll20 didn't used to do.

Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I'm @loreshapergames. I just haven't really had time to jump into #steemquest of late.
