Brave Browser Announces $500,000 Worth of BAT Giveaway

Basic Attention Token is the token which may be earned by using the Brave browser. The basic idea behind the Basic Attention Token is to give you, the consumer, control over advertising dividends. As is customary in the traditional advertising world, companies like Google charge a business to run ads on multiple platforms. By visiting these platforms and clicking the ads, Google and the website both receive revenue. Of course, I have no say in this transaction which is where Brave comes in.

Brave currently has over two million users. This number is sure to rise as users continue to be rewarded for simply browsing the internet using the Brave browser. Brave plans to improve their revenue program with an option for users to opt in to view private ads. The reward for viewing these ads will be up to 70% of all ad revenue.
