Review: ReLIFE

I normally don't read simple, love story mangas like ReLIFE but I was looking for something new when I decided to read it. Guess what happened after reading the manga? I ended up watching the anime and the live action movie. That's how great this manga is or should I say Japanese webtoon.

ReLife Plot

ReLife is about a guy in his late 20s named Arata Kaizaki who quit his job just after 3 months and eventually becoming a bum. Because of this, he had a hard time landing another job and that's where the opportunity comes in when a mysterious man named Ryō Yoake offers him a job opportunity. But before he gets hired, he needs to become a guinea pig for ReLife: a scientific experiment to revitalize him by 10 years and he will be attending high school as a student.

Review

There isn't anything mind blowing about this series, it's just pure fun and it makes you want to go back to your younger self and do things right over again. There was only one big revealing moment in the entire manga. I feel that this manga could have given more because most of the story revolves around the main character and his friends.

It will make you smile from start to finish.

This is ideal for readers who like to read something so simple but has a deep meaning that could actually be applied in real life. Something to take you away from all the action and drama in the anime world.

The manga runs for more than 200 chapters but since it's more of a webtoon, chapters are shorter than your typical manga but all of them are colored.

Arata Kaizaki's adventure begins when he agreed being the test subject.

One thing I like about the manga is that on the last page of each chapter, there's like this extra comic of the characters that is funny most of the time.
