Repollo Goals 2018 - 2019

We know that many of you may think "Hey, Repollo is always making a lot of changes" and it's true, We have nothing to say about that opinion; Reality is that in the last few weeks We have made many pivots, but without changing our main vision. We Stoped doing some activities because they just didn’t make much sense for the community, for example: Giving feedback is something that characterized us when We started, but then We noticed a few people were not interested in our comments, so We decided to stop; but do not forget how important it is for us, and how much it contributes to our vision of helping people to grow their way in steemit. Talking about how to grow is something that too many people do already, there’re so many who seek to teach about these issues; often We see new posts that sell you the idea of how to get better rewards and gain more followers. We realized that if you try to explain to people carefully how to move forward in anything they will just ignore you, but when they need help, they will come looking for you. So Goodbye Repollo School and We continue supporting those who are self-taught.

Leaving aside everything that only took my time away and made me lose money; We decided to focus on two things:

• Internationalize Repollo, Which is implicit at the time we create content in English and launch the memberships for the Anglo community.

• Make a contest, Interesting content post, events, and alliances. That will make the community grow.

We have created a small list of goals that We believe are achievable and we will probably fulfill in 2019. This list is not a final, I suppose that as the weeks pass we will be adding more goals; however, these are the main ones:

1. Internationalize repollo

To be honest, I don’t see too much potential in the Hispanic community at least in terms of voting power, that's why you look at so many Spanish posts with quality content and rewards at $0.02. There’re only a few curators who give a very small reward and hardly makes profitable the stay in our community. We know the biggest one is @cervantes and thanks to them even us the projects may have support. That’s why I believe internationalization is the future, in terms of our project at least.

We will start writing and voting content in English. We will begin a campaign of diffusion with the Anglo-Community soon to be able to bring many users who acquire one of our membership or persuade whales to join and follow our trail.

2. Upvoting value at 3$

This is one of the main targets; since, for obvious reasons, if you have a high voting power, people will come, we all know that money raffles.
Recently, @upheaver one of the Witnesses who supports us decided to join our Trail, raising the upvote value to $ 0.85, and thanks to that we can deliver better rewards to all of you, diversifying with @beberepollo to upvote people who don’t have a Membership. By the way, We are very excited about our new Delegations Memberships system, and we hope many people will acquire one. And yes, We know that the Hispanic community does not have to much SP spare to delegate, that's why our new approach is to go for the Anglos. Goodbye to the “Spanish content only” Voting rule

3. Fixed Rewards in outposts

The goal is to make all our posts to reach $ 5 in upvotes, posting every day, giving a total of 7 weekly posts and generating an approximate income of 35$, we know almost everything will go to SP. And We don’t want to do Power Down to be able to pay salaries of the whole team, although we probably will have to; So, it is necessary that the same community that we are supporting start upvoting our content too. We thank the alliance that We have with @templo, @steemraiser, @celfmagazine, and @radiosteemit. We are committed into supporting each other knowing that the projects also need to monetize in some way or another. 4. Reach 2k followers

Previously it was very easy to get followers thanks to a large number of votes we got in our posts using bots; several times we were able to position ourselves in the top in the Spanish tag, which gave us more visibility. Today, we can no longer afford to make those investments into publicity, and it is very difficult to be back in the top of that tag again, so things get more complicated to give visibility to this project. That’s why we’re working on a diffusion system based on Influencers and referrals, where everyone can participate; And you as active members of the community will be the in charge of spreading our project with your family and friends. And You will get rewards for doing it so.

5. Discord activities

Discord is nice, but it is nicer when it is active, and the community interacts and shares knowledge, so in the coming weeks we will be initiating many activities with the goal of turning on the community with a small contest which includes incentives such as liquid rewards in SBD or upvotes from the trail.
