Good one @bala41288... In our ancient texts, we have a lot of references of kings and sages going to perform penance for many many years. They end up eating nothing and just survive by breathing. They concentrate on meditating and the key here is the breathing technique. The higher the mastery in yoga and meditation, the higher the mastery over one's body.
Yes @rajivv203. It is so true. We have lots of references in our ancient Indian scriptures. Even there are people capable of living several months and years without food and water. When you said that, I just remembered of someone called Prahlad Jani who stopped eating at the age of 8. You can read about him in the below wikipedia article.
