As you can see in the image, the plant has reached a height of 54 centimeters, also has good ramifications, its stem is strong and its leaves have an intense green color, which indicates that it is in good health, because generally any disease, Deficiency or excess of some nutrient, is manifested in the leaves.

Importance of controlling the risks and fertilization of pot crops

In the cultivation in pots, it is not advisable to water with garden hoses, since we must avoid the stagnations. We can use manual sprinklers to water the plants and at the same time we can use it to supply the fertilizer together with the irrigation water, this will work as fertigation, in this way we can control the doses of fertilizers and the quantity of water; Remember that the containers or pots are made of plastic material with holes in the bottom, but still, they retain a lot of humidity, which can cause the appearance of diseases caused by fungi. This method is similar to fertigation, since we irrigate and at the same time supply the fertilizer to the plant.

Irrigation systems are very important, so I take this opportunity to talk a little about what fertigation is:

The fertirrigation consists of applying jointly the water and the fertilizers that the plants require; In extensive crops, fertigation is of great importance since this method seeks to save water and nutrients, generally this system is applied with drip hoses. With the fertirrigación we can avoid the waste of the fertilizers since these are used dissolved in the water, using the appropriate doses depending on the needs of the plant.

• Avoid excess water: Irrigation should be applied according to the humidity of the earth, the important thing is to keep the soil a little moist; On the other hand, since foliar fertilizers are applied with water, it is advisable to apply them in the same irrigation with the use of a manual sprinkler.
• There is something very important that we should know, and that is that we should place the tomato plant in a place where it receives enough sunlight or at least 7 hours of sun, because ideally it would be 10 hours of sun. Tomato plants, need sufficient sunlight, so they can make their own food through the process of photosynthesis, where carbon dioxide is converted into sugars, which will serve as food for the plant. And at the same time the flowering is activated.
