Characteristics of the Arnica plant

The Arnica plant has a height that ranges between 30 and 50 cm; its leaves are elongated and oblanceolate in rosettes and covered by hairs; its flowers are orange-yellow. It is a plant that grows wild in the mountains, has an aroma similar to chamomile.

Mode of propagation of the arnica plant

The arnica plant spreads in two ways: by its seeds and through its rhizomes; When the plantations are carried out to obtain their seeds, it is advisable to make the seedlings or the seedbed, for a better control of the germination because their seeds are very small; When the plants germinate, they are expected to reach a height of 15 centimeters to continue with the transplant.

For the transplanting or sowing by the rhizomes, it is necessary to plow the land well, the plantation is done in rows with a separation of 70 to 80 cm between them and 30 to 40 cm between each plant.
