SCHOOL DISINTERS, AN ENEMY OF TEACHERS.

For some time, school disinterest has become one of the main problems in education worldwide. This phenomenon grows every day in students causing school failure in children and adolescents.

It has become the enemy of the teachers since it frustrates the educational plan and the goals projected by the teachers at institutional and personal level, due to the low performance and academic performance of the students.

What is school disinterest?

It consists of a demotivation and/or reluctance to study. It is a lack of interest to continue learning since you can not perceive any benefit to strive and prepare. If this problem is not dealt with in time, it may incur a total abandonment of the studies.

School disinterest may be caused by the following factors:

1- Laziness, making the student not willing to perform or participate in the activities proposed in the classroom.
2- Subjects or subjects are not of your interest, because they do not perceive any benefit between what is learned and reality when put into practice. when studying them and this generates a stress them to have what they do not like.
3- Family problems such as separation from parents, permanent discussions within the family, which affects their emotions and concentration, harming their academic performance.
4- Personal problems such as bullying 
5- The methodology of the classes, which can be boring and uninteresting, lacking dynamics, disappointing the expectations of the student. There are also cases where the language used by the teacher is very scientific, which complicates the understanding of the subject by the students, causing a total disconnection between the student and the teacher.
6- Inability to follow the same pace as other students. The symptom of attention deficit is a disorder that manifests itself through the difficulty of following instructions or going at the same pace as other classmates causing a distraction in the student, making frequent mistakes, inability to concentrate, and to strive and uninteresting, lacking dynamics, disappointing the expectations of the student. There are also cases where the language used by the teacher is very scientific, which complicates the understanding of the subject by the students, causing a total disconnection between the student and the teacher.

But how can we solve it?

We must attack the demotivation since this is the main cause of school disinterest.
1- Propose to the student goals that are feasible to achieve according to their characteristics.
2 - Set with the student a comfortable time to study and perform tasks, remembering the goals set.
3- Have a place to study which environment is pleasant for the student, away from distractions and noise, if possible designed according to their tastes and preferences, so that you feel comfortable and motivated.
4- Highlight the qualities of the student and the objectives achieved, never reproach the areas where he has not yet advanced, in this way we provide security and self-confidence to keep moving forward.
5- Not everyone is motivated in the same way. There are students who are motivated when the classes are visual, others when the applied language is simple and easy to understand, and others like to listen only, for this we must know the way in which learning is facilitated.

Both parents and teachers must work to tackle this problem that has frustrated many children and young people. There must be a commitment from both parties since the solution is in their hands, applying strategies to motivate students and facilitate their learning, making the study the bridge that leads the student to be a man or woman fully prepared and achieve their .
