Family union. What is a family for a child?
The traditional concept of model family has undergone transformations in recent decades, today's society is no longer the same and has integrated other types of family that are now valid for a child to grow, but do not guarantee that their growth is healthy.
What is the concept of a model family?
Family is the base of society. It is a group of people linked by a consanguineous kinship or linked by legally and socially recognized links such as adoption and marriage. A model family is one whose members interrelate and complement each other in total love, respect and tolerance, and where each one fulfills its due functions.
But what does the family mean for children?
Although the child can not define exactly what the family is, it does not mean that he does not know it. For them the family are the people who give them love, understanding and care for them, who are always there when they need it, that is, for a child the family is the base where they can support themselves emotionally. Children are aware of the love they receive and love and union are the true essence of the family, it is something that money can not buy
Once I asked my 4-year-old niece what the family is and she replied: My mom, my dad, my brother and the little dog. The meaning attributed to him has to do with the links, experiences, the permanent sharing with these people and the feelings that this generates.

A united family is an unbreakable wall at an emotional, affective, physical and social level. It offers multiple benefits for each member, starting from parents to the smallest at home. The family union allows you to enjoy the moments you are together and is able to overcome in the best way any difficulty or crisis that may arise.
To achieve a family union we must start with children when they are still little: although they deserve attention and much care, you spend a lot of time with them, so it is ideal to plan special activities that are related to coloring, painting, playing or be outdoors.
In this way, we can obtain the following benefits:
1- Children are free to express their feelings.
2- Children feel important and loved
3- They learn to work in a team and to be responsible since they strive to do their part to maintain harmony in the home.
4- They learn to be respectful and tolerant.
5- The family union offers children emotional stability and mental health. Knowing that mom and dad will be available in good times and bad times helps children grow up with high self-esteem.
It is very nice and pleasant to live with a united family, which does not depend on the wealth or assets that you have, but is always willing to support one another, growing in complete love, contributing to the welfare of others through advice, a good word in time, a hug, a service or monetary help in times of economic crisis.
Without a doubt, there is no better environment for a child to grow up healthy and happy, than in a home with a united family.
