Esta fotografía que tomara apenas unos días atrás, corresponde a la llamada Flor de Venezuela, una estructura diseñada por el arquitecto venezolano Fruto Vivas para ser usada como pabellón venezolano durante la Expo Mundial 2000, realizada en la ciudad alemana de Hannover. Funciona con un sistema hidráulico, donde los 16 pétalos que la conforman pueden abrirse y cerrarse sobre un “tallo” de 19 metros de altura de acuerdo a las condiciones climáticas, y cuando se encuentra abierta, o en plena florescencia, alcanza un diámetro de 39 metros.

Al finalizar el día y entrar la noche, la estructura es iluminada con reflectores de colores, lo que le confiere un gran atractivo visual, haciendo de este ícono urbano uno de los destinos mas visitados de la ciudad.

La imagen original, y la cual presento al final de la presente publicación, fue realizada a color, y posteriormente con el uso de la aplicación PicsArt, la modifiqué con el objetivo de llevarla al fascinante mundo de la fotografía en blanco y negro, y poder compartirla con todos ustedes.

The original image, and which I present at the end of this publication, was made in color, and later with the use of the PicsArt application, I modified it in order to take it to the fascinating world of white photography and black, and be able to share it with all of you.
