First of all, congratulations for embarking this new journey of life!
That's kind of like a level up in human "circle of life" (as my friend used to love to point this out)

It's great to see you as a new father you are very much aware that pampering your wife is one of your key points as appreciation for her to go through her 40 weeks journey (or less) carrying a new life in her and all she has to go through.

My dad told me once,

The moment you are a parent, you will forever have that worrying sense in you for the rest of your life until you are 6 feet under.

So do give yourself a pat from time to time for availing yourself to nurture the next generation of your lineage.

(And don't bash yourself when challenges are hard to cross, and enjoy your journey with your wife as a parent)
