Village Fish Head Bee Hoon - Authentic Tomyam soup
Nowdays you can get the taste of Tomyam literally everywhere in Malaysia, even Maggi cup also comes in tomyam flavor. But how many of them are authentic tomyam that literally makes your nose go running? Some tomyam are just really tasteless to me, even though it has the similar taste. This restaurant that sells Bee Hoon in tomyam flavor, I can proudly say the tomyam is really original.
This is how the restaurant looks like in case you are trying to find it. A little old school design but actually most of the restaurants are like this in Penang, some good old fashion with good taste.
Judging from the picture, you can see how spicy it is already. I am good with spicy, but my boyfriend isn't as good was me, he suffered running nose and wanted to order an Iced Chinese Tea immediately, but the staff said sold out. So he got lazy and just went on without drinks.
You can add additional ingredients like eggs, tofus, fish head or any other side orders that they provide there. The price for this tomyam noodle soup was RM5, with 2 quail eggs.
Rating goes for a fascinating 9/10, I think this is the first time I rated a restaurant with 9 points out of 10.
