VIDEO: Monday night's debate for Phoenix mayor

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Heartland Newsfeed) -- The NBC affiliate in Phoenix, 12 News, held a mayoral debate Monday night featuring the four candidates for the city's special election for mayor.

The debate, conducted in partnership with the Sandra Day O'Connor Institute, featured:

  • Kate Gallego and Daniel Valenzuela, two former members of the city council
  • Moses Sanchez, a former Tempe school board member
  • Nicholas Sarwark, a business executive and chairman of the Libertarian National Committee
The hour-long debate was broadcast on Facebook Live and can be viewed below (video courtesy of News 12):
