Aman Abdurrahman is known as an ex-convict in Lapas Nusa Kambangan. He was arrested by police during an explosion in Cimanggis, Depok, on March 21, 2004.
After passing the trial, Aman was sentenced on 2 February 2005 for violating Article 9 of Law no. 15 of 2003 in connection with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code concerning possession of explosives with a seven-year sentence.
After being released in 2010, Aman was arrested again to fund the training of terrorist groups in the Janto Mountains in Aceh Besar. Hammer also sentenced Oman to 9 years in prison in Nusakambangan Prison and was released with a five-month detention period.

Aman also became one of the leaders of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah group (JAD). JAD is the group responsible for the bombing of three churches in Surabaya, the bombs also exploded in Sidoarjo and East Java Mapolres in East Java.
