JUNE DAY TODAY NYC DAILY CHANGES CONTINUE - Good morning everyone! We have a nice June day ahead of us today, but the day to day pattern continues and each day of the week looks different in their own respect. This has been a tough pattern to not only because of the day to day changes, but also because any peek of sun can send temps soaring 10 degrees while areas a few miles away stay gloomy.

For today, we'll start out with sun everywhere and it'll be a lovely day in the 70's before winds get gusty due to an approaching upper level low. With the approaching low and the heating of the day, this will help spark off some isolated thunderstorms. We'll have to wait for them to pop up in order to see who will get what, but anyone who does, runs the risk of small hail, gusty winds, and brief torrential rain; typical for storms helped along by an upper level low. As of now, these storms could make it to the coast, but the best chance to see them will be upstate NY, NW NJ, and NE PA.

Tomorrow, the schmutz returns with clouds and sun, an easterly wind, and the slight chances of showers. While today's 70's will feel warmer than it is, tomorrow's near 70 temps will have a mix of raw and humid feel to it. Salvation is on the way though, but it's only for a 2 day block.

Thursday and Friday will be the first 2 days in a while that we're putting some good sun together back to back. Thursday is looking like the cooler of the two as we recover from that easterly flow, so look for highs 70-75 in most areas; then as a southerly flow increases from later Thursday to Friday, we warm up nicely into the upper 70's to low 80's. We could see some mid 80's in the notoriously warmer spots.

Unfortunately, clouds and showers return for the weekend. Again, no rainouts expected, but the threat for activity will be there for each day. Our one saving grace will be that the 50's will not be around for this block, and any showers will be on the warm side with mid to upper 70's expected both Saturday and Sunday.

As far as your marine forecast goes, the bays are looking fine, but this constant switch between an easterly flow and otherwise, is making things tough around inlets. You'll have to hit things perfectly when the winds switch from the east to calm, before switching to a gusty south or westerly wind. As of now, your best days to attempt some ocean fishing is Friday morning, then Saturday morning. Watch for the changes as things get gusty each day in the afternoon.
