Pronouncement about ETFs

A lot of fud was created about whether the SEC approved or postponed the decision on the ETFs, in fact it had already been pronounced some time ago and said that by September 30 was going to approve, reject or institute a process that would help to take a decision, and this is what the SEC has issued an order to implement procedures that determine whether ETFs should be approved or rejected.

 
Source   This is very important what the SEC said on August 7 was that they would have until September 30 to determine if they approved them if they did not approve them or if some procedure was implemented to determine if it did, as a result of this the SEC received more than 1400 letters and comments regarding the change of rule, and since many people are willing to be part of this the SEC determined to implement this in order to have more knowledge and more opinions when making this implementation.  
  Implementing these procedures or these processes does not mean that the commission has already taken any decision in this regard, it is what the commission wants is to motivate interested parties to comment on the change of the proposal, thus preventing fraudulent acts or manipulation and that they can promote equitable trading principles, as well as protect the investor and the public interest.  
  All this is a step forward, the SEC is available and instead of saying we are going to deny as in the previous proposals here we are going to take the trouble to hear people, this makes us see that by September 30 we are not going to have a final decision however it seems positive that they take the job of analyzing it, of course this will further increase the uncertainty that there was and speculation but I think they are good signs, I believe that in the end the SEC what wants to have a broad support to be able to say yes.
