The name Mount Maculot (curl mountain ) is came from the local citizen's in cuenca batangas southern part of the philippines because of it's curly trail's, but it is more known as the Ghost mountain cause of the Ghost stories from the local citizen's and hiker's who camp at the mountain in the night

Many believe that the mountain is being haunted by the ghost of Maricar, the girl who plunged to her death at The Rock formations of the mountain . hiker's believed that she is the one spotted and heard by campers during the wee hours of the night. Some even claim to have heard her shrieks from down The Rock formations
Aside from the sightings of the ghost girl, others claim to have seen huge shadows following or observing them from the trees. They would loom over the campers as they go about their activities. And at night, these shadows would also circle their tents, keeping them awake.

but when you here in the morning and the rising light from the sun appear's you will see the stunning beauty of it. this is paradise .
