When we feel sick it becomes sort of difficult for us to develop a proper appetite. However, when you are feeling unwell it becomes all the more important to stay nourished and hydrated.

There are a variety of foods which can combat different types of illness. For example, food which can be helpful with a sore throat may not necessarily be helpful for someone feeling nauseous.

Whether you have plain old cold or mother of all flu or even stomach virus, it is time to stock up on drinks and fruits which will help you get back to tip-top shape in no time.

1. Chicken Soup is the Best to Get Relive from Sickness:

4. Use Power Packed Honey when Unwell:

We all know that honey is packed with antibacterial properties, this is because it has a high content of antimicrobial compounds.
Some evidence even suggests that Honey can help in making the immune system strong.

Honey is even used to suppress coughing in kids, however, do remember not to give honey to kids less than 12-month-old. Simply add a half teaspoon of honey to a cup of hot water and sip on it. This will keep you hydrated and will soothe coughing and sore throat.
