India Makes Historic Amendment Of Decriminalizing Of Homosexuality; "Gay Sex Is Not Crime"
Bollywood celebs rejoicing the decision of India's Supreme Court lifting a ban on gay sex of section 377; making gay and lesbian sex legal.
Let September 6, 2018 be remembered as the day where all Indians started loving equally without any fear! The Supreme Court of India has delivered a historic and a landmark judgement where it has decriminalized homosexuality. Delivering his verdict on IPC Section 377, Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said, “I am what I am. So take me as I am. No one can escape from their individuality.” In the country where Indians can finally love freely irrespective of their sex— Bollywood too is celebrating this historic judgement by embracing its individual opinions.

The news of decriminalizing homosexuality is a relief to all the people of the LGBT community, whether in Bollywood or the masses as now they can live and love equally while feeling safe in their country.

Many of the celebrities who are tweeting and posting Instagram posts about the abolishment of section 377 are related to the LGBT community directly or indirectly, in some manner. Hopefully due to this judgement maybe now there will not anymore cringy jokes on gays and lesbians in Bollywood movies?
While Supreme Court’s this judgement is the first step towards ending the mental and physical torture on the LGBT community members— this day is also a new ray of hope for all the Indians who lived in darkness because of their sexuality.
