SCHOOL FOR PARENTS: How drawing influences the development of children.

in #steempress6 years ago (edited)

Children love to draw, create paintings, drawings and tell stories using images, even if they only have sticks and sand at their disposal. From one year and throughout childhood, children paint pictures and draw all kinds of realistic and fantastic drawings.

Children's drawings often surprise parents and psychologists, who see in them the key to the individual qualities, emotions and mental development of the child.

The drawings are a sample of the child's creativity and his sense of beauty. While drawing, children also develop logical thinking and symbolic representation, while they learn to show the world around them in a two-dimensional space, on paper.

The drawing also develops the spatial orientation of the child, promotes learning in the exact sciences and helps regulate emotions during stress. The psychologist Lev Vygotsky argued that the drawings are part of a symbolic system of communication, which includes speech, reading and writing.

The child's communication system is revealed in the development process. In a literal sense, the drawings of primitive children serve as intermediaries between the oral and written forms of language.

For an adult, the drawing of a two-year-old child is just a scribble, for a child it is a reflection of his rich world.

Drawing is not just entertainment. A child becomes familiar with color and shapes, develops the ability to observe his visual memory, trains his hand and acquires fine and large motor skills. The drawing allows him to express his feelings, which is especially important, since a two-year-old child can not yet express in words what he feels. The drawing also serves as a tool to capture daily events.

The drawing is a good incentive to strengthen the concentration of attention through concentration for some time in a type of activity. After all, to draw something, you need to sit at least one minute calmly. When the drawing also develops the memory.

When a child draws a grandmother, friend or dog, you must first remember what it looks like. The image appears in your imagination and, therefore, is rarely seen "as it should", for example, the sky can be green.

Doodles

Only some children begin to draw at the age of about a year. Most of them start this creative work for about three years, when something begins to emerge under their pencils that resembles about a person, a cat or a house.

However, before this happens, your child will need to learn some important skills. At 18 months of age, he would have skilfully driven through the paper with a thick pencil, holding it with his whole fist (left or right, or again and again differently, or even two at a time), and Holding the paper with your free hand so it does not stay.

  • The first drawings of the child of a year and a half do not represent practically nothing, and also according to the plan of the author. Sitting in front of a blank page, the baby does not think: "Now I will draw a bear", he just wants to cover the white plane with "strokes" of various colors. It can be scripts or scribbles, which is more similar.

Las formas desordenadas creadas en un papel por un niño de dos años se están volviendo más claras. El niño dibuja unos 20 elementos diferentes que se pueden dividir en tres grupos:

  • largas líneas horizontales en zigzag;
  • líneas cortas (guiones), dirigidas en diferentes direcciones (el niño aprende a rasgar el lápiz del papel y tocar con él otro lugar);
  • espirales y garabatos (el comienzo de los círculos, que, a su vez, son los precursores de las primeras figuras).

Pictures

There are significant changes between the second and third year of life. The child does not have fun with the coverage of the sheet with dashes and curls. Try to draw objects of people, animals, houses, celebrities (and important to him). It happens that at the beginning of the work he solemnly proclaims what exactly will be created, and then in the middle of the work, without any reason, he changes his mind about the drawing. And this is completely normal.

The child has such a rich imagination and so many ideas at the same time that, even after the drawing ends, he can explain in a different way every time he shows everyone.

Although the images are still far from the photographic precision, it is easier to decipher them. This is because the child has more and more control of the movements of the hands and reproduces several forms with greater precision.

The lines, crosses, triangles, rectangles and circles appear from the chaotic chaos. Thanks to circles and stripes, the child can create the first "portraits", as a rule, in the form of glorious "octopuses" or the sun. Another of the most common and repetitive reasons for the creativity of the first children, in addition to the "portraits", is the house, as well as the people nearby.

As the child grows, his drawings become increasingly realistic and rich in various details. Instead of numerous impressions (impressions and sensations), a single precious and refined detail appears on the paper.

When it's time to draw, give the child lots of paper and pencils. If the child does not want to draw anything, never do it, but try to have pencils and paper at hand (in case you change your mind).

If you already have some kind of drawing, at least one zigzag, which you would call a snake, show joy and praise the child with all your strength. By hanging your drawings in the room or in the refrigerator, show how much you appreciate them, which, as a rule, incredibly inspires the child. Or maybe even once they sit together for a joint creative session? It will be simply great!
