1. Parents try to teach quick reading too soon.


You can start classes only when the child reads at least 40 words per minute, and word by word, and not by syllables. And he should be at least 7 years old.

These are the best conditions and the most optimal age for a quick reading.

2. Parents have a bad speech.


Reading is a skill in which both vision and hearing are important. When parents have problems with pronunciation and do not speak well, this is more damaging than helping to master the ability to read quickly.

3. Parents also rush the child


People without experience or pedagogical education quickly overcome their patience, start screaming, wave their arms, intimidate the child and do not give them the opportunity to learn normally.

Therefore, if you want to teach your child to read quickly and instill a love for literature, it is best to turn to specialists.

Understand the meaning of reading.

Reading comprehension is important, sometimes the child reads at a good speed, but can not answer basic questions about the text. This is because the student reads without thinking. This, of course, should be avoided.

Tables of letters and syllables.

Draw a table of any size, usually, we make from 5 to 5 cells or from 6 to 6. Enter letters in the cells. That's it, the game is ready. Tasks for the child:
  • you must name all the letters in a line or column;
  • name and show the letter that is to the right of the given letter or higher;
  • Name and display all vowels or consonants. These are tasks for children who learn to read, for first grade students. There are options that are very interesting and older children, and even adults

Exercise "What's in the image?"

You can play in a group or in a pair of "teacher (parent) - student". The children see the image of the plot and discuss the image. Then its description is made in writing, but in an unusual way: the first person writes a word, the second two, the next (third or first, if the game is matched) three, and so on. You can break your part of the text with punctuation marks or put them at the end.

Exercise "Letter in a bottle"

An old and well-known game, which, however, is very popular among elementary students and offers an excellent effect: it increases spelling, expands vocabulary, develops attention, intelligence, creative abilities and the ability to understand other people.

In addition, the teacher can also solve specific learning tasks: for example, to solve the spelling of dubious consonants or b and b. Then we must omit the appropriate letters and give the children the task of not reading, but of adding words.

"He took a bottle from the sea, but no, not lemonade! - A real letter that someone sent us. Maybe these are children from a distant island? Or maybe sailors in trouble? We need to know that in the letter, but ... that's the point! - Many words are damaged by water. However, we will try to decipher what is written here: what happens if someone needs help urgently! "

The "letter" can be of any reasonable content. "Wash" the letters should depend on how much the children have learned to read and play this game. The simplest option is a "missing" letter in two words, in the middle or at the end. It is much harder to read if the first letter is missing or 2-4 letters in a row. In the following words, you can not miss the lyrics.

Play with the child with letters and words, play with the text, and then the problem of the reading technique will disappear on its own.
