The Phoenix as a mythological animal in different cultures.
The Phoenix has been one of the most mentioned creatures in the different cultures of the world, it represents the sun that is born and dies every day, it is considered an immortal deity that originates the rebirth of a new life. The Arab fables say that he sang a melody so beautiful that the sun stopped his passage through the sky to listen to him.
It is a unique animal that cannot reproduce, it is solitary, it is said that it can live inside volcanoes and there is only one in the world. It is described as a very long-lived bird that is known to be near the end of its days builds, a funeral pyre with wood in its nest to immolate itself, while it sings a soft melody, flaps its wings to fan the fire, then a new bird emerges from the ashes left with greater wisdom than the first.
The myth of the phoenix tells the legend of a bird capable of being reborn from its own ashes, it represents the symbolism of fire, rebirth, sun and immortality. It is a mythological animal originating in the popular legends of the Middle East, India and Africa.
According to ancient stories the Phoenix bird lived in the deserts, it looked like a large heron with two long horned feathers on its head, described as half eagle and half pheasant, or similar to a seagull. Some others say it was a hybrid among the most beautiful birds in the world, with golden or multicolored plumage.
The curious thing about this ancient legend is that it has versions for all cultures and they all agree with the description of a bird with the same characteristics that has a unique way of life that goes against the natural cycle of life.

Garuda is a mythological figure of the ancient Indian king of birds, he is credited with the gift of wisdom, in the paintings he is depicted flying Krishna over him and fighting his battles. It devoured the snakes so we can infer that it was the divine weapon against evil.
It is very interesting how such geographically distant localities coincide so much in the description of an ancient deity, taking into account that these legends date back many centuries before modern times and were separated not only by land and sea, but also by language and religious barriers.
