Talking to mothers and baby product influencers about STEEM - BABYCON 3.0
Its just another day talking about STEEM and all its great applications to the unknown. Its been awhile since I last talked to individuals who just stares are you in a daze and was wondering what on earth this block chain animal is all about ?
With its grand launched by YB Hannah Yeoh , it was great to have seen her to talk of her stands towards abandon kids and her views of child marriage.
BPAM ( Baby Product Association Malaysia ) is an association of manufacturers , distributors and retailers of baby products in Malaysia. BABYCON is a yearly conference bringing all retailers & wholesalers from everywhere to display their products. Its a 3 days event where day 1 is for none consumers and the other 2 days are for consumers. An event like this generates close to RM2 million in sales over 3 days.
As part of the event various speakers were called to speak and among a few interesting once was WeChat !
Apparently WeChat claims to have 20 million users in Malaysia already. I'm still trying to grasp around that figure as having a population of only 30 million ... the number just do not add up. Given the benefit of doubt, it looks like WeChat is being supported by Hong Leong Bank and they have big plans to grow big in Malaysia and it has already started .
One of the highlights was these Women Baby Products Influencers ( IBUENCER ) awards was given to those who had the largest influence in the industry.
Right after the awards were handed out, I then had the chance to get on stage to talk about STEEM Blockchain and the different platforms available for these Influencers to get on.
Thanks to the Chairman of BPAM ( Mr Tze Co ) in inviting me to speak, there were a few new initiatives which I would be working on out from here especially for Fundition .
A special shoutout to Hazel ... the MC for the day ! She was so very cheerful and vibrant throughout the entire event and kept everyone well informed as to what is coming next. Its individuals like her which makes events like these a true success.
