How to crush competition

When I find myself doing something that I have never done before I tend to doubt my abilities due to the lack of knowledge or understanding that I have about a subject matter. It is normal to doubt yourself, however, it is not normal to stay dwelling in your doubt. You must overcome the doubt you have and develop a sense of confidence by studying, researching, and remember to constantly practice the craft that you are trying to master.

There is always going to be competition and people that are more experienced and proficient than you. The way to beat the competition is by first fighting your doubt and attaining a comprehension that you are going to fail. The path to success is always going to involve failure. You will never learn how to adapt and overcome your doubt if you cannot learn to accept and learn from your failure.

Once you learn to live with failure and conquer your doubt you must outperform your competition. Work ethic is extremely important to achieve this, and you must be willing to take the time to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to compete. You must have a certain sense of pride in everything that you do, become the best and study the field that you are trying to master extensively. You should know everything there is to know about your field of study or occupation.

You don’t need a degree or years of academic study to be able to achieve this state of knowledge and wisdom, all you need is discipline and consistency. If you can get over the hurdles and trials that life tends to throw at you every single day and remain consistent and disciplined enough to maintain forward progression you will not only be on the same level as your competition, but you will surpass them.

To be the best, you must accept being the worse. Ego is the ultimate enemy and will never let you move forward. You will always remain stagnant if you let your pride get the best of you. Be humble enough to learn and accept when you are wrong. You should always be open-minded, don’t dwell on being wrong just learn how to get it right.
