There Were No Plants In The Arid Land
My friend, have you ever seen a farmer when sowing plant seeds? Then, have you ever asked them. What do they expect from planting? Perhaps without asking, we will know the answer. If someone starts planting, of course, expect abundant crops.
Yes, this is like us who want to emigrate to something better. When we have begun to realize the meaning of life, a sense of remorse with a series of mistakes that we have done so far will appear. We know, there are many sins, both sins with fellow human beings and our sins to the creator, Almighty God.
Then, when we see good people around us. Then we really want to be like them. But, there are obstacles that will flood us. There is always a whisper of the devil that often hinders our good intentions to become better people.
We need enlightenment to stabilize our hearts, just like someone who wants to change schools. From old schools to new schools of better quality. In this case a person certainly needs the intervention of his parents and other motivations such as if he moves to a more advanced school it is hoped that he will get better achievements.
Now we are back again, to our tips who want to migrate to become better human beings. I was reminded by a wise word that so pierced my heart: "If your heart is a volcano, how can you expect flowers to grow in bloom". These words really pierced my heart, how someone said that my heart was like a volcano. While I want to plant in the hope of doing an abundant harvest.
If so, plants will thrive in fertile soil too. Of course plants will not grow on volcanoes. Meaning here, if someone wants to move better, someone who is close to God, who loves his parents, who is light in helping people, must first eliminate the fire in his heart. Because goodness will not come when our hearts are still full of lust and whispers of satan (devil).
And, the way we cleanse our hearts can be in various ways. It is possible that we often come to places of worship, with this we will often hear lectures from the providers of spiritual splashes. Then, we familiarize ourselves with other good things. It is hoped that with this our hearts will grow with many good things. If one day the angel of death calls us back, we will be ready with the provisions we bring, because we have planted a lot when we are still alive in the world. Amen
