Johor Bahru San Low Seafood 新山美食-三楼米粉
在马来西亚半岛最南端的城市新山,有一个大排档品牌是名牌-那就是三楼,而他们家招牌菜就是三楼米粉。
In Johor Bahru, the southern-most city in Peninsula Malaysia, there is a popular brand name in "Zi-Char", named after "San Low", literally means "Third Floor" in Chinese. And their signature meal is San Low Fried Mee Hun.
当@auleo询问身边的新山同事,很多都不时会推荐这家三楼海鲜园,所以其实早就久仰大名,可是常常就是不顺路或忘了,就那么多年不了了之。
When @auleo asked around Johor Bahru Friend and Colleague any recommended food or restaurant, most of them did mention this "San Low", and this time I always jokingly asked :"which building's third floor?", and there I get to know this restaurant long time ago. But always did not have chance to pay a visit.
还记得第一次听到这三楼米粉,我还满天问号:“就是哪里的三楼?”,这时可能会有人答:“就是彩虹花园那里的三楼啊”,通常这会让我更好奇是那里的三楼。
最近,就机缘巧合下去了新山市区,@auleo突发奇想,不知道这三楼米粉是不是真的那么好吃啊?驱车前往彩虹花园还在暗忖,下午5点半应该开门做生意了吧,别让我久等啊!
Recently, @auleo did have an opportunity when I do some shopping in JB downtown. Suddenly idea sparked in my mind, why not give San Low a try since so many JB friends recommended it. And on my way drive towards this restaurant, I still wondered at this time 5;30pm would they have started business, Hopefully do not need to wait for long time.
去到餐馆才知道,我们算是较迟抵达的食客了,因为举目望去,餐馆已经半满。。我们的坐位都相当靠近厨房,如果不是大风扇,是相当热的位置。
When we reached the restaurant, then we know we are considered slight late comer already , as the tables were half occupied. Thus our table was quite near to the kitchen, if not the big fan, the location will be a bit hot and stuffy.
这就是新山著名的三楼干炒米粉(同行的有对海鲜敏感就叫店家别放虾了,不然标准例牌是有虾只的)。再次举目望去,每张桌子都点这道三楼米粉,我看厨房里应该有一个厨师是专门准备这一道吧?
Below is the famous San Low Fried Mee Hun , and I noticed all tables ordered this fried mee hun, which I think there should be a dedicated chef for this signature meal.
还有他们家的辣椒是一级棒的,叠着这座山一样高,而且我留意到厨房做打包工作的地方有个口诀:“打包多少钱给多少包辣椒”,看来许多食客是冲着他家辣椒而来的。
MUST NOT miss their chilli ! I believe many are make their return trip because of their chilli. And I notice there was a formula for food pack-away ie how much packing then issue how many pack of chilli.
另一道招牌香港豆腐 ,也是必点。
Another signature is Hong Kong Dou Fu:
再来佛缽飘香 Yam Busket
这些都是该家餐馆的招牌菜。由于人数的关系,所以我们也没点多菜,但这一次的到访留下美好回忆,也将成为未来再光临的伏笔。
Below are all the signature meals in this restaurant. Due to headcount, we did not order much but we did have a good image on San Low Seafood, and definitely will return if we are nearby.
餐馆里看得出有许多来自新加坡的食客,而且这餐馆的收费也没有因为靠近新加坡的关系而乱飙价,实属难得,所以推荐大家不妨试一试。
Obviously there were many patrons from Singapore, but San Low Seafood for my own experience is charge reasonably despite its proximity to the custom. So recommend fellow friends to try out :)
