The human ships approached in a spiral descent that took them to a region of the ocean a little far from the coast, were two shuttles, which entered the atmosphere with the purpose of offering more detailed images of the planet and its inhabitants, take samples of atmospheric gases and if possible establish communication with the two intelligent species that coexisted in it.

They approached the coast to cross the continent and to fly over some native populations, the constructions were fundamentally conical constructions of low height, connected by a network of what seemed to be the rails of some type of transport, reason why the sensors showed, the buildings were penetrated underground, so they assumed that the houses were in the subsoil, but there did not seem to be networks of tunnels that would allow the transit of the settlers under the surface, so that, the fact that the streets were empty, made them think that perhaps they were of nocturnal habits, or simply they were hiding before the visit of strangers coming from space.

North of the continent they approached the village of the other intelligent race that inhabited the planet, to their surprise the strange individuals with anthropomorphic appearance seemed unaltered by their presence, they simply turned to see the ships and continued in their affairs, They were detained for a long time on the village watching them jump into the lake to return with strange aquatic creatures that directly led to the circular enclosure that was in the middle of the village and that supposed it was some kind of temple, it seemed a community task for the small population, to submerge to extract these small animals in the form of arthropods from the lake.

There was no major variation in their behavior for about an hour, after which they seemed to form neatly to see the ships as if they were expecting something from them. At times many on the bridge of both ships felt the strange sensation that the settlers wanted them to descend, the sensation of being welcomed and eagerly awaited.

Ali Norton, captain of the first ship asked to communicate via a private line with the captain of the second ship.

-Miriam, what do you think, should we descend, - he asked intrigued by his surprising desire to descend.

-I was asking the same question, - replied Miriam Sokolov, captain of the second ship, -I do not consider it prudent, we are not adapted to the gravity of this planet, it is much higher than that of the ship, it would require a lot of physical effort, no matter how much we want to descend, the best thing is that we retreat, and we observe the other species, it is almost dusk.

After this, the ships turned and made their way to one of the nearest populations of the other race, hoping to observe their behavior during the night.

Meanwhile in the village, the creatures continued with their routine, without giving much importance to what happened.
