Oh Shit, Where Did My Bitcoin Go?
OK, I'm taking baby steps.
I bought my first crypto about 3 weeks ago, joined steemit just over a week ago and am ready to really invest.
I'm pretty sure I sent 0.0177 bitcoin to the address shown (I cut and pasted it) to buy Steem Power.
My brokerage account shows it as having been sent.
How long should I expect before it shows up in my Steemit account/Wallet?
While this may not seem like a huge amount to some of you, if you read my post "Why I Am An Asshole", you'll understand that it is to me.
I would appreciate any input.
Please keep in mind, from a crypto standpoint, I'm still functionally illiterate (So far, that means I can apparently send money out of my account into cyberspace).
The amount of sum isn't important when it comes to building credibility with service, so I don't think you're an asshole here.

As for me, I've been donating from Poloniex and money always got to my account very fast.
I'm still learning steemit so I haven't figured out how to add links yet.

Steem is one of the fastest block chains, so its almost instantaneous for deposits, withdrawals, and transfers...
If you included the right address on your deposit it should be there now.
Withdrawals are a little more tricky, as you must include you unique Memo I'd. That is just so exchanges know where the coins came from and can credit your account quickly.
I'm not sure what you did wrong, but you should have your coins. Ive done hundreds of transfers with zero issues...
Unless, you specifically bought Steem Power through the Steemit wallet page, in that case, it takes 7 days to credit your account. That is to deter market manipulation.

It did show up, but those few minutes seemed like days.
Hopefully I'll get used to it as time goes by.
I eventually got used to using the card swiper at the gas pumps. ;-)

All they offer is Bitcoin and Ethereum.
