This is my last minute submission to @myday's #steemphotoawards competition. This was taken at the Edinburgh Carnival which marks the start of the Edinburgh Jazz and blues festival. The carnival procession contains performers from all kinds of different groups in the city.

This dancer is part of the Beltane performers who have their own big event called the Beltane Fire Festival. Something I will write a separate post on later.
