Why is Time Gold?

An old saying goes: "Time is gold"

But why really is it gold?

Is it because once it's gone, you could never get it back?

Or is it because you can never afford something so worthwhile?

For me no, time is there all the time,

it may pass, it may arrive, but time is still there, never gone.

So what really is it?

Time is gold because it is there to teach,

Money may be spent, people may fade, material things may be destroyed,

But experience and knowledge does not, it remains.

Time is here to give us knowledge and memories.

Time is gold for it teaches us something that no one can take away from us,

Something that can never be erased.

The most precious thing a person could have, memories and knowledge.

So the answer?

Time is gold for it is experience itself that enlightens our mind,

gaining wealth for self and others.

Time is gold for it gives us something no one can take away from us.

Time is gold for it gives us memories of happiness, in turn it makes us happy.

Time is gold for it reminds us of our past, the faces of people who have gone ahead of us,

people who have said their goodbyes, and people who have made our lives worth living.

TIME IS GOLD. So make it as colorul as possible while you're still alive.
