Good Morning!

To begin, I would like to apologise for my absence these few months. I've missed you all and I'm happy to say I am now back in circulation and with that we have some new changes and new additions to our Family.

First, I would like to officially Welcome our new hubs

Thank you all for joining the SteemPh Family. I have no doubt each hub, being led by some of our brightest stars, will grow from strength to strength as time goes by.

It's a true honor to have you all part of the Steemit Philippines Family.

Custom Footers

We will no longer be creating free footers for the community.

If you would like a custom SteemPh footer with your username on it, you will be required to donate 1 SBD to your SteemPh hub account with "FOOTER" in the Memo.

For Example:

If you are from Manila, your local @SteemPh hub will be @SteemPh.Manila.

To request a footer you must transfer/donate 1 SBD to @SteemPh.Manila with "FOOTER" in the Memo.

If you do not have a hub in your location, your footer requests should be sent to @SteemPh, and I will create your footer.

Your footer, when ready, will be posted as a comment on your latest post AND added to the FOOTER-VAULT channel on our server.

This new system is aimed to:

1. Reduce the amount of double requests.
2. Provide a way for members to contribute to the community.
3. Add another level of income for the community to be used to fund community initiatives and hub growth.

New Hubs Format

Another change I am implementing is the introduction of the Graphics Designer position in each hub.

With the new footer request format in effect, each hub is now responsible for creating footers for their members.

The designers are also in charge of creating a professional and unified look for their hub's posts.

It's a new day here at SteemPh folks!

I will be training people taking on this position and have created the training-room channel on our discord server for this purpose.

Training will begin as soon as we have representatives from each hub signed up.

SteemPh Power-Up Challenge

We are quite fortunate here at @SteemPh to have a number of members in the @Sndbox incubator program.

@Sndbox is a phenomenal program, filled with inspirational forward thinkers who are bottomless pits of brilliant ideas.

One of those brilliant ideas is the internal Power- Up Challenge that we @Sndbox fellows participate in.

Over the few weeks we have seen @SteemPh.Cebu take that challenge and integrate it into their community, closely followed by @SteemPh.Manila and @SteemPh.Davao Power-Up Brigade.

And with great thanks to @Steemitph, @Dandalion, @Steemnest and the SteemPh Caravan we are now fostering the importance of Powering Up to our newest recruits.

Powering Up is an important and integral part of our growth here on Steemit.

As part of our new format, you will all begin to see more hubs conducting Power-Up Challenges.

It is my hope these challenges will be fully or partly funded by footer donations.

I have designed this system so community funds will stay within the community and people who donate have the opportunity to win back their donation by participating in these challenges.

Make no mistake, our over all community goal is to increase our collective Steem Power.

Imagine, if you will, the @SteemPh community filled with Dolphins, dedicated to our community and the greater Steemit community.

This is our end goal and together, with dedication to our mission, we can achieve that and more.

Last words...

We have quietly celebrated our 6 month anniversary lately and although we have had a great run and experienced incredible growth, I also see areas where we are lacking.

Our motto - "Building Communities, Enriching Lives."

Is as true now as it has ever been but in previous months where you have seen most of our attention focused on the communities outside of Steemit, you will see a more balanced approached in the coming weeks, with more emphasis on building and enriching our community on Steemit.

I now open the floor for the community to share their thoughts and suggestions on what they would like to see implemented, or how we can further improve @SteemPh.
