BACK TO STEEMIT! SHARING MY STORY

Hi good day! How's everyone?
I think this will be my first post after 2 years.

So, why did I stop?

The reason behind it was, I got a regular job.
A full time job.

What was my job?

I worked as a Gaming Assistant from an E-Casino Company from year 2018 up to the month of January 2021.
This job is the best. You have your freedom. Less stress. You will enjoy assisting the players. Even if your schedule is graveyard from 10 pm to 6 am, you won't mind the time.
You will get free snacks, free coffee except free internet connection because we're not allowed to use phones. We can eat anytime we want. But ofcourse we should do our job well.
Making friends with the players/gamblers/bettors is just a bonus. Being friends with them will make your work easier and enjoyable. No pressure at all. Exchanging conversations, jokes, and sometimes they will tell you gossips you don't want to hear. Lol!
Working with this company is great! I was assigned from different branches inside our province (Bulacan); Meycauayan, Plaridel, Sta. Maria, Guiguinto and San Rafael.
Ofcourse, it won't be complete if there's no drama, issues, problems with your colleagues. But as long as you focus on what's right, the reason why you're there working, you won't mind the toxicity of people around you.

MY FAVORITE BRANCH / WORKMATES

BTW I was under an agency. But the company was TOTAL GAMEZONE XTREME INC. which has so many branches nationwide.

So, where did I enjoy the most?? I loved PLARIDEL BRANCH!! ♡ WHY?? This branch is the best! Best manager, best colleagues, best players. There's no issues at all. The bonding we had back then was awesome!! No other branches made us feel HOME. All staffs that had a duty in Plaridel, doesn't want to leave there.

WHY DID I RESIGN?

I didn't stop actually. Year 2020 was the hardest time for all of us. The businesses, the jobs, the travels got affected because of the pandemic. Ofcourse, my job and the company is one of the first establishments that were forced to close.
No one was allowed to go out, no one was allowed to travel, most people can't go home with their family. I am one of them. My workplace is only 6 kilometers away from home but I wasn't able to go home for 3 months. Imagine that, not seeing your family personally is hard.
As time and months passes by, quarantine was lifted. But not all cities and provinces were fortunate. We started working again for weeks, then quarantine again for a month and go back to work again. That's how it worked.
At last! October 2020 was the month for us! The quarantine was really lifted and we got back to work again up to the last day.
The sales of our branch was very low. Our high rollers were not playing. Why?? Because most of them are senior citizens. We all know that senior citizens were not allowed to go out.
As days go by, sales go high and low, high then low. Until month of january came. Kaboom!!!!! One of oue high roller won a big amount! Really big amount that we can't reach our quota for the month. The same day, we lost our job. :(
Our manager called us telling us that our last duty was on that day. Fortunately, 3 of my colleagues still got their job. They were assigned from other branches. Unfortunately for the guards, they're just waiting for the things to be pulled out.

WHY I WASN'T ASSIGNED TO OTHER BRANCH?

Well, I was. But I didn't continue. Why? Because all of us wants to earn. But the working days of the staffs from the other branch will be affected. The schedule will become skeletal. Less schedule, less salary ofcourse. That's not what I want. I want to be fair.
And so I decided to send my resignation. I wanna try working from home. I tried to apply for an ESL company but I didn't move to the next step. So now, I am still looking for a homebased job. I am trying to send applications for graphic artist because I love doing arts.
