Program for the DAY

The Machine Design Summit has an Inter-University Competition and Inter-High School Competition that is attended by schools from all over Metro Manila.

The schools that will be in attendance are(list as of Jan 23):

1. Manresa School
2. Jubilee Christian Academy
3. Technological University of the Philippines
4. Manila Science High School
5. Don Bosco Technical Institute - Makati City
6. Paranaque Science High School
7. Philippine Science High School Central Luzon Campus
8. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School

It is going to be a HUGE event that you shouldn't miss!

See YOU at OUR Steemit Booth on Feb 3,Saturday, 1pm infront of the College of Engineering Theatre. Directions below.
Our Steemit booth will have

• a tarpaulin backdrop c/o @deveerei and banner c/o @bearone, that will make our booth hard to miss
• We will have active steemians that will guide you and help answer your questions.
• A Signup sheet will be open and you may bring a friend to get them on board to steemit in minutes!
• A projector will be on site to display Steemit tutorials, videos while flyers created by @bearone will be given away to participants and passersby.
• Light snacks brought to us by @steemph.
• Steemit and steemph surprises and giveaways await!

A little background

A FEW years back, I was part of the Machine Design Inter-University Competition but it was on a smaller scale with only about 5 schools in attendance and we held it in a room inside the Mechanical Engineering Department Building. Here are photos of me hosting it in 2005 with my friend Earl(top). I was also the host at the Diliman Motorshow which is another event our student organization at UP Diliman hosts yearly, photos at the bottom.

Going back to my college and experiencing it as one of the sponsors along with Steemit Philippines, also going on stage to talk about Steemit is an honor and I'd like to thank @steemph for this opportunity.

(1) Camera or phone to take lots of photos! (2) If possible, wifi connection so you may post your OTW,ATM,and post event photos.         (3) Pamasahe	OTW to the last yearender/meetup with @greymonolith, @deveerei, @grazz and @haneun

If travelling via MRT,

(1) get off at Quezon Avenue Station and (2) ride the Jeepney along Quezon Ave. going straight to UP Diliman. (3)Tell the driver you will be going to the College of Engineering.	(4) Alight at the waiting shed at Molave Residence Hall (red circled dot below) and walk to MH or Melchor Hall - College of Engineering which is encircled in red. Proceed to the 3rd floor lobby and look for the Steemit booth.
