These are great options to having a more environmental friendly habitat. I think A Liter of Light is very doable in any Filipino home and solar cells are damn expensive but I think with a little bit of time, more and more homes will explore having these on their roof since Meralco has an option for homeowners to sell back generated power and earn from it.
Agree! It's cheap, came from recycled materials (mostly), and it's easy to install. The team behind this in the PH recently upgraded the device - they installed a battery charger so when the sun down, there is still Liter of Light.. (twing!)
