Steemit Meetup Caravan - Cavite

Almost a month of planning, few changes in the venue, the SteemPh meet-up caravan (Cavite Leg) finally happened last March 10, 2018.

After a few messages, comments and quotes (for venue) for the event we eneded up with Cafe Moraco that is located at Centennial, Kawit Cavite. All thanks to @steemitph, @dandalion, and my good friend @watersnake101. I also knew that Danda was not feeling well before the event and had to cancel a few appointments to prepare for this meetup. They even drove a 70+ Kms to Cavite from Bulacan. We really really appreciate it.

I rode the bus together with @watersnake101 and his family. We planned to be on the venue an hour before the event so we can help on setting up the place. Unfortunately, we were not able to calculate the travel time. We were not late but not that early for what we have planned. We were caught on a heavy traffic which caused us to be late. We arrived on the location and saw @steemph and @dandalion with their 2 kids parking their car. I was starstrucked. Finally faces for the usernames. We helped them carry the materials but I did not help on the setup. Too much brain will prolong the process. hahaha

Red and Danda introduced themselves and started the talk as the venue started to be filled by steemians and non-steemians. But there are a lot of seats that can still accomodate a few. They explained the basics to start with.

Then Red went to share his analysis for a good content. Danda shared us the importance on getting engaged with other steemians in order to be noticed. Yes, being noticed is one of the things that you need to accomplish on steemit. But you should be noticed in a good way. I know you know what I mean.

We were also enlightened on how important voting for the ~witness and how they help the organization.

After a few more encouraging words and advises we now proceed to the best part... The food. We were served rice meals, burgers, club houses and finger food. And while everyone is enjoying their food @okaereyes pump the place with her energetic performance of "New Rules".

To wrap things up, after a few closing words from Red and Danda, they gave us a souvenir and we thank them in return for driving all the way to Cavite from Bulacan. And also for making these possible.

Another spice of the day is that @luvabi would want to give 2 steemians 1 ticket each for an event in Valkyrie in BGC. It happens that she is also from Cavite and she had a talk with @watersnake101 on building the possible steemph-cavite.
