Participation of Bayawan City and product exhibit in the 25th Panaad sa Negros Festival
Yesterday together with bestfriend we visited the Panaad Park and Stadium to witness the 25th celebration of Panaad sa Negros the " Mother of all Festival " .
All towns, municipalities and cities in Negros are participants in the said big event. This will be a great opportunity for them to promote their product, culture, best tourist destinations and to generate income as well.
Panaad sa Negros is always celebrated every year on the third week month of April. A one week celebration of showcasing different festivals from each cities and municipalities in Negros. Not only that, you can enjoy the food, souvenirs , a chance for you to identify the best places in Negros, and if you are fun of taking pictures. You can visit all the booth from different places while learning from their culture and specialty products.
Here is the Bambu Bike of Bayawan displayed inside the Bayawan booth. Before I started taking photos I asked first the in-charge yesterday if Tatay dagsa or @flabbergast-art is already their in Panaad. He told us that maybe on some other day they will come because they have special participation in the event.
So it seems there is no chance to meet them ,instead we decided to take photos on the displayed products which are all made of bamboo.
I was so amazed while looking to this religious figures like the crucifix. Very interesting because its my first time to saw something like this then all of those are made of bamboo.
There are other religious figures like Mama Mary , Santo Nino , saints, Jesus Christ and many more. I also love the illustrations and most especially the excellent quality that you can export to other countries around the world.
Bayawan is really one of the best producer of bamboo in Negros. They have great artist and craftsman that can create these exceptional products. From building materials, interior designs, useful bamboo kitchen tools , beautiful display figures and etc.
It is also a perfect place for @flabbergast-art to start his " Walk of Hope Project " in Negros.
Promoting Bayawan livelihood in making bamboo products is one of a kind and a form of art.
If you want to experience this big event here in Negros. You still have 4 days before the Panaad sa Negros will end.
Just come here in Bacolod the capital city of Negros Occidental and don't miss this chance the " Mother of All Festival "
