Moving is a big adjustment especially for kids but luckily they are also very resilient and can adjust fairly well to change. When we decided that we would be moving back to the Philippines, we also discussed our plans with them 2 or maybe even 3 years in advance. Our daughter at that time was around 8 or 9 and our son was 5 or 6. I remember her getting excited as it got closer and closer to the time we had to move but our son was so worried about missing his friends. But now, almost 2 years later since we came here they are both very happy and they continue to make new and hopefully lasting friends.
