Walk of Hope(WOH) Update: Promoting Steemit in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental, Philippines
Since arriving in Bayawan on March 31st, our very own Marlon aka @flabbergast-art have been attending meetings with the local government regarding further bamboo innovations that the present government wants to implement in the future. Coupled to this is the planned Bamboo Planting this April, the first project of this Music and Arts tour from Steemit Philippines.
Update from yesterday April 4th
0900 AM Inteview with the local station - Walk of Hope promotion, Steemit Philippines and Steemit
1400 PM Courtesy call at the local government cityhall
Interview with the local newspaper
1800 PM Meeting with all the Artists for Friday's concert
15 Bungkaka, 2 didgeridoo, 15 palis-palis, tunggatong
These are the instruments needed for tomorrow so the whole of today Thursday was spent creating them. As Bayawan City have different kinds of Bamboo plants, i guess creating them is the normal thing to do.

I believe in the saying, "If you can't buy them, make them!" Making it look so easy.

If they can be done locally, why not? And are effective?
Filipinos are very creative, and if materials can be found locally, you bet they will be used especially with no expense. Improvisation at it's best! As for Marlon and Tatay Dagsa, the other artist who will join this tour, creating them is normal like breathing.
All one needs is expertise and ingenuity.
