I completely agree with you @futuremind "They just don't make stuff like they used to." And I am convinced that a lot of today's products are designed to last just after the warranty period is finished.
I also love to browse antique and second hand stores because as they say, "One man's trash is another man's (or woman's) treasure." 😊
