I don’t remember who posted it, but I recently read a sentiment I agree with regarding this as test to see how a community/project centered on decentralization will handle an attempt to be annexed into a centralized system.

I don’t know how we’ll fare on the financial aspects of this whole thing, but I feel I pretty strong sense of community here and imagine it’ll weather the storm well enough to come out whole (to at least some functional degree) after all is said and done.
