"History: This statue is a symbolism of the heroism of Tres de Abril. It was called Tres de Abril from our own language. It happened on April 3, 1898, Abril stand's for April, Tres stands for three. It happened in Cebu when the revolution began with the Spaniards. The Cebuano (people live in cebu called cebuano) fought the Spaniards that time"

But before we arrive on that statue we will do sight seeing in every new things or in a place that might interest you.

This is the pedestrian road where I'll cross to my destination. This is a national road, named N. Vacalso St. This is the road when you want to go in Naga or you'll go into the South of Cebu. This is the road that connects Minglanelia, Carcar, Pardo and many more town's ahead. This road also where my school located at the side of the street. But there also another school that you can see in this road. The CIT and the UCLM, this kind of schools are way bigger from our school.IMG_20190402_071436.jpg

This is the waiting area if you want to ride a buss, multicab and taxi if you're going to South. But people are hard headed even the students. They waited in the different place where they can easily ride. Especially during in the afternoon where passengers running to ride first in the Bus. Let's go to the Brgy. road, shortcut to reach the statue.

Did you see a chair, table and a big umbrella? Why these things place at the side of the street? Let me tell you, this is a place where people can eat. This place is called "pongko-pongko", this is a Visayan dialect where if we translate in English it will called "sit-sit or sitting." Did you know that this kind of place is popular here in Cebu. You can see this place most near at the school. I never tried but they said you can save money if you eat in this kind of place. The rice there is worth of 5 pesos or 0.10 dollar cents. The viand food also, not all food are the same price but the average is 20 pesos or 0.20 cents dollar i think. I'm not sure in conversion. lol. Actually you can't save money here because they said it's so delicious to eat here that you can spend eating for mlre than one (1) dollar. But if you don't like to eat in a place like this because you have a rice in your house and you want to buy is viand food. Now I suggest go to this kind of place, actually we don't have a name for this.

Now this one is fit for you, she only sell viand food. You see that table, that's the viand food she placed on it. In the Philippines you can see it always.

FACT: Did you know that they don't pay taxes for this. They just place their products or foods in order for them to earn.

A few more steps I reached the statue located, the street was named Tres de Abril. But if we just used to say, drop me in Tres sir. if we ride on a multicab or Jeep. By the way this is just only a Brgy. road, no bus transportation can enter here. Taxi, jeepney and multicab only.
I'll be happy to answer your questions in the comment section.

Thank you for reading.
