Interpretation of the Holy Quran Blessings and thanksgiving (installment)

Allah Almighty is constantly showering blessings on His creatures. Every particle of the universe is burdened under the sacred burden of the blessings of that real blessing. There is nothing that is not part of the glory of the Most Gracious Lord. It is by His grace that the creation came into being from non-existence. With the abundance of blessings on all creatures, it is the infinite grace of Allah Almighty that He has given us Muslims a share of mercy more than others. If we consider ourselves in terms of our caste, then we will understand how we get the blessings of Allah Almighty.

The first blessing is the blessing of existence that there was a time when we were not present and there was nothing worth mentioning then He gave us existence and gave us hearing and sight as Allah Almighty said:

( هَلْ اَتٰى عَلَى الْاِنْسَانِ حِیْنٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ یَكُنْ شَیْــٴًـا مَّذْكُوْرًا(۱) اِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ اَمْشَاجٍ ﳓ نَّبْتَلِیْهِ فَجَعَلْنٰهُ سَمِیْعًۢا بَصِیْرًا(۲) اِنَّا هَدَیْنٰهُ السَّبِیْلَ اِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَّ اِمَّا كَفُوْرًا(۳))

Translation: Surely a time has passed upon man that he was nothing worth mentioning. Surely We created man from a sperm-drop that We might test him, then We made him a hearer and a seer. Surely We have shown him the way, (now) he is either grateful or ungrateful. (P-29, Al-Dahr: 1 to 3)

The second blessing is that He did not make us an animal, a cattle, but a human being and gave us the best form, so God said:

(لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِیْۤ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِیْمٍ٘(۴) )

ترجمہ : بیشک یقیناً ہم نے آدمی کو سب سے اچھی صورت میں پیدا کیا۔ (پ30 ، التین : 4)

تیسری نعمت جو نہایت عظیم ہے ، نعمتِ ایمان ہے کہ اللہ کریم نے ہمیں ایمان کی دولت سے مُشرَّف کیا ، ارشادِ خداوندی ہے :

(وَ لٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ حَبَّبَ اِلَیْكُمُ الْاِیْمَانَ وَ زَیَّنَهٗ فِیْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَ كَرَّهَ اِلَیْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَ الْفُسُوْقَ وَ الْعِصْیَانَؕ-)

ترجمہ : لیکن اللہ نے تمہیں ایمان محبوب بنا دیا ہے اور اُسے تمہارے دلوں میں آراستہ کردیا اور کفر اور حکم عُدولی اور نافرمانی تمہیں ناگوار کر دی۔ (پ26 ، الحجرات : 7

چوتھی عظیم و جلیل نعمت ، خدا کی آخری کتاب قرآنِ مجید ہے ، چنانچہ فرمایا :

(یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُمْ مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَ شِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِی الصُّدُوْرِۙ۬-وَ هُدًى وَّ رَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۵۷))

ترجمہ : اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نصیحت اور دلوں کی شفا اور مومنوں کیلئے ہدایت اور رحمت آگئی۔ (پ11 ، یونس : 57)

پانچویں عظیم نعمت ، جانِ نعمت ، اصلِ نعمت ، سببِ ہر رحمت و نعمت ، حضور پرنور صلَّی اللہ علیہ واٰلہٖ وسلَّم کی ذاتِ گرامی ہے۔ فرمانِ باری تعالیٰ ہے :

(هُوَ الَّذِیْ بَعَثَ فِی الْاُمِّیّٖنَ رَسُوْلًا)

ترجمہ : وہی (اللہ) ہے جس نے اَن پڑھوں میں اُنہی میں سے ایک رسول بھیجا۔ (پ28 ، الجمعہ : 2)

ایسی نعمت ہے کہ باقی دنیا والی ساری نعمتیں اِس پر قربان۔
