3D Prototyping STEEM PARK Donation Prizes
Hello hello! Reporting in from WOMP studio with our progress for our first item prototype. We're trying out different sizes, materials, and colors for the park's iconic magnolia flower on these fabulous little Makerbots.
By printing it at this scale, the flower will be a functional airplant holder and as a bundle, we'll be shipping them out to our STEEMPARK supporters, so be sure to click the link at the end of the post and find out how you can earn one of these goodies.

The images at the top confused me (easily done), are they the right way round in process order?

It's tough to see but it's printing bottom to top and you can see the hexagonal structure happening inside of the flower. We'll post more time lapses that should help visualize it! Fun stuff.

Can you please tell me which 3d printer that is and how long it took to make the piece?
Looks like a makerbot and I would assume somewhere around 4 hours? But thats just a guess
Beautiful product for an awesome cause! Have you tried adjusting the angle in which the flower prints? You might get away with not using any support filament
