RE: Steemocracy : A Steem Comic | Volume 17 | "Danpocalypse Now"
It was unbelievable to see so many people cheering to him in the comment section of his farewell post treating him like a genius (well, he's kind of a genius....genius at scamming and running away with other people's money...) I mean there still some much cognitive dissonance going on in this community that it just amazes me. It was so freaking obvious from the beginning: you have a guy with a serial scammer background who instamines these tokens in the beginning, then pumps up by making big promises and then steals even more money by upvoting his own content. Not to mention that he even changed the power-down cool-down just so he (and his group) could exit from this shitcoin at a faster rate. The whole idea of Steemit was so obvious ponzi right from the beginning. This guy should not be treated as a some kind of king in cryptospace but one of the biggest con man and scammer of all time.
his reputation spans 7 years, tens of thousands of posts and lines of code, promises made and delivered on. you can always spin a story from a select set of thoughts you knit together, but it won't change the mountain of facts that speak to his genius, determination and moral intensity. being quick to find flaws with people who strive to burn brightly must be a terrible inner voice that restricts freedom to make mistakes and live fully.
