This is the real balance that I don't think many games have got right so far. They all end up like a chore. Survival games a perfect example of this, dayz or Ark survival evolved for instance you spend more time running around gathering resources, which can be fun at the start, then actual objective completing or interacting with other players. It turns from fun to the point where I can't even think about playing the game without feeling nauseous
