JUVENILE DELINQUENCY AND CAUSES

Good morning everyone..Hope you're good... This morning i'll be talking about juvenile delinquency and it's causes.

Juvenile Delinquency is known as teenage crime. It is like any crime that human beings commit but, thus crime differs because they are committed by young people. Before coming of age, boys and girls have less understanding of the world,parents, friends and teacher are all responsible along with the juvenile who commit a crime. This is why courts do not punish the teenagers like punish the adults, when they commit a crime.
There are separate juvenile courts and purpose of juvenile punishment is to help the teenagers understand the importance of staying away from crime.
There are various theories of juvenile delinquency, and various researchers have reported different reasons of delinquency, most of the common causes of juvenile delinquency are:

1. Family: Family is the basic socialization agency for children, children learn basic concept about good and bad from their family. They make their values and set norms of society family can make or break the personality of the children, broken families, single parent families and frequent family fight are the most cause of juvenile delinquency.
   

2. Peer Group Influence:  It is a very strong force that can cause delinquent behaviour in the adolescent, when friends commit crime adolescents often learn to do it and they cannot understand the consequences of the crime. Peer group rejection can also cause juvenile delinquency: Lingerscan also get in juvenile delinquency when they cannot get similar things as their friends.
   

3.  Society: Society itself sometimes become very negative and create difficulties for the youth society is a strong force of developing the negative feeling from the society can become a reason behind Juvenile delinquency.
