RE: Fake News: How the BBC is culpable in failing its standards.

Yes, @immarojas, unfortunately, the bulk of the readers do not know how to discern between the truth and the propaganda - lots of truth mixed with a little convenient 'un-truth' makes for a pat on the back from the corridors of greed!

Sort:

The opposition in the Philippines have this motto, "it doesnt need to be true, it just need to look like it".

@immoarojas, That's the same problem we are facing in My country. The Ruling party came in with a lot of propaganda and have nothing good to offer. Right now, the country is in a serious economic mess.

They control the media too? Gone are the days when the media seeks the truth with their life and report it.
Not fatten themselves each time they report a manipulated story.

Yea they control the media too. Followed you.

Thank you and you too!
Because the Philippines' opposition controls the media, President Duterte's supporters are using social medias to reach out to one another locally and abroad, most esp facebook. TV stations, newspapers and websites are all gagging against the president at the moment so we are left with the majority using facebook.
So far in Steemit, there's only the 2 of us posting on what is really happening in the Philippines. You can do this too in here. Especially as it is uncensored. I'm sharing my steemit posts in facebook and twitter where it can reach whoever it can. Also chatting fb members to check steemit.
